Lung-Pulmonology

Mount Sinai Health System has one of the top-ranked pulmonology programs in the country according to the U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals survey. In addition, through our affiliation with National Jewish Health—a leading respiratory hospital in the country—we have developed the Mount Sinai–National Jewish Respiratory Institute. Here, our pulmonologists use a multidisciplinary approach to work with specialists in areas such as cardiology, allergy, gastroenterology, rheumatology, ear, nose, and throat, and thoracic surgery. We also draw on Mount Sinai’s programs in personalized medicine, genomics, and research to enhance our quality and outcomes.

Our sleep center, which includes an in-house diagnostic facility as well as a home sleep-program, has doctors who are experts at the diagnosis and treatment of sleeping disorders. We are involved with research, working with other leading departments at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, which helps us deliver the very latest treatments to our patients.
