About Mount Sinai Ambulatory Care

We are here for you. From the very start, Mount Sinai’s mission has been to provide excellent health care to all. We have become one of the world’s leading centers of excellence in medical care, research, and education. At the Department of Ambulatory Care, we remain dedicated to meeting the health care needs of New Yorkers, as well as those of people far beyond the city’s borders. We help everyone, regardless of economic, ethnic, or cultural background.

We maintain a network of outpatient care practices throughout Manhattan. Most of them are based in one of our eight hospitals. We also have practices in some public schools and freestanding facilities. Each of the outpatient practices has its own set of offerings. Overall, Mount Sinai Ambulatory Care offers a wide range of high quality care. This includes primary care (basic health care services such as routine checkups and management of chronic diseases) and specialty medical services.

We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. If you don’t have insurance, we will work with you to make special arrangements.
