The following provides you contact information and details to our health clinics.

Mental Health Clinic

The Mental Health Clinic is an ancillary service of the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership that provides mental health care to patients referred from EHHOP’s Medical Clinic. The clinic staff helps patients address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Women’s Health Clinic

The Women’s Health Clinic is an ancillary service of the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership that provides specialized medical and procedural care for female patients referred from EHHOP’s Medical Clinic. Similar to the EHHOP Medical clinic, patients are seen by a team composed of one Senior Clinic (3rd or 4th year medical student), one Junior Clinician (1st or 2nd year medical student), and The Mount Sinai Hospital attending who specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Women are referred to the clinic for the following:

  • Family planning/birth control counseling
  • Testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Pap smear
  • Colposcopy
  • Endometrial biopsy
  • Pessary placement and maintenance
  • Intrauterine Device (IUD) placement and removal
  • Post-Menopausal Bleeding workup
  • Abnormal Uterine Bleeding workup
  • Transvaginal /Pelvic Ultrasound
  • Any gynecological conditions beyond the scope of Medical Clinic Attending

Eye Clinic

The Eye (Ophthalmology) Clinic is an ancillary service of the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership that provides screening and treatment of eye conditions care for patients referred from EHHOP’s main clinic at The Center for Advanced Medicine on East 102nd Street. Low-income individuals are also able to receive free eyeglasses through our partnerships.

Eligibility: You must be referred from EHHOP main clinic, visit us for your glasses prescription, and have no other resources available to pay for glasses (from federal/state programs, or charitable organizations).

Cardiology Clinic

The Cardiology Clinic is an ancillary service of the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership that provides appointments with cardiology fellows at no cost to patients, including echocardiograms and outpatient consults. The Cardiology Clinic is open approximately every 2 months.

Your clinician will make an appointment with the Cardiology Clinic with you during your appointment in the Main Clinic.

Podiatry Clinic

The Podiatry Clinic is an ancillary service of the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership that conducts outpatient procedures at the Main Clinic. It is free of charge to patients that are already being seen. The Podiatry Clinic is held during regular EHHOP clinic hours approximately every 2-3 months.
