At the Mount Sinai Queens Infusion Center, our experienced oncologists and hematologists treat a wide range of cancer and blood disorders using the latest treatment protocols and provide patients with individualized care in an intimate boutique setting. As an extension of the highly regarded Tisch Cancer Institute at The Mount Sinai Hospital, the Mount Sinai Queens Infusion Center brings quality care for cancer and blood disorders to western Queens. Our entire medical team across the Queens and Manhattan campuses is able to confidentially share information about patients’ health history, test results, and progress through our state-of-the-art electronic medical record (EMR) system provided by Epic, enabling doctors to collaborate in providing timely, comprehensive, high-quality care. We offer the same treatment protocols provided at the Mount Sinai Manhattan campus in a smaller, more intimate setting, enabling our doctors to really get to know their patients and provide personalized attention. This close patient-doctor connection, as well our friendly and caring environment, is reflected in our high patient satisfaction scores.
Chemotherapy and other infusions are administered in our convenient outpatient facility located across the street from the main hospital in the heart of Astoria. We also provide a wide range of transfusion services and administer intravenous medications for benign rheumatologic disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis. Patients are treated in a quiet environment in private, comfortable infusion chairs where they and a guest can enjoy Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and snacks during therapy.
We understand how overwhelming it can be for those being treated for these illnesses, and so our team of expert physician specialists and compassionate chemotherapy nurses works closely with patients and their families to allay their concerns and treat them with dignity, respect, and consideration.
Treatment is administered by our highly trained, compassionate nurses. Our doctors are fluent in Spanish, Greek, and Chinese, enabling them to communicate with patients more comfortable speaking those languages. Additionally, dual handset phones enable our staff to easily communicate in virtually any language.
The Mount Sinai Infusion Center is open weekdays, providing patients with the highest level of personalized service by our entire staff. Our doctors are on call 24/7 to answer questions and provide off-hours support to their patients.
Patients and their families find that our medical capabilities and compassionate, patient-centered approach make the Mount Sinai Queens Infusion Center a strong and able ally in their fight against formidable illness while giving them peace of mind.
Our convenient outpatient facility is located across the street from the main hospital and we are accessible by subway and bus and just half a mile from the Grand Central Parkway.
