Planning Your Visit
Visitors can be an important part of the healing process. We encourage family and friends to provide support to hospitalized patients. If you want to take an active role in caring for your family member or friend, please speak with the patient’s nurse or the nurse manager.
Mount Sinai Queens welcomes visitors from 9 am to 9 pm. Out of respect for other patients, please limit the number of visitors to two at a time. Children under 12 need permission of the patient’s nurse to visit. Check with the patient’s nurse if you need any special visiting arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate you while respecting the needs of other patients who may be sharing the room.
Visitors will be greeted by security staff in the hospital lobby. You will be asked whom you are visiting. Our goal is to provide a safe and healing environment.
