Mount Sinai physician-scientists share insights and report on developments in the field in “Frontiers of Medical Research: Cancer”

“Frontiers of Medical Research: Cancer,” a Science magazine supplement published on November 25 in collaboration with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, explores insights into this complex group of diseases, and strides made in treating them, as reported by researchers from The Tisch Cancer Institute.
The new issue of Frontiers, which debuted in 2021, is the second in the series and probes such topics as:
- Novel techniques for previously undruggable cancer targets
- Developments in multiple myeloma
- Advances in research aimed at preventing recurrence
- Pioneering approaches in the growing fight against liver cancer
- Increases in understanding of how cancer evades the immune system and promotes tumor growth
