Mount Sinai has a dedicated specialist from LiveOnNY for families of potential organ donors. Our family service coordinator is specially trained in counseling families during this difficult time and is available at any time to answer questions and provide support.

The National Kidney Foundation founded the National Donor Family Council (NDFC) in 1992 as a home for donor families.
