In an editorial on CBS Sunday Morning, comedian Jim Gaffigan says he was especially grateful this Mother's Day after his wife's successful brain surgery, led by Joshua Bederson, MD, professor and system chair for the Department of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Health System and clinical director of the Neurosurgery Simulation Core. "Three weeks ago, it was discovered my wife, and mother to my five children, had a brain tumor," said Gaffigan. "It's gone!
