Adult Critical Care/ICU New Graduate Fellowship
The Adult Critical Care/ICU Fellowship Program will support new graduate registered nurse (RN) fellows in the fast-paced, high-acuity adult critical care units across the Mount Sinai Health System. The RN Fellowship graduates will be well prepared with in-depth knowledge in critical care nursing.
During this challenging 24-week Fellowship Program, RN fellows will complete a bedside preceptorship with their preceptors in their assigned unit. As a system cohort, RN fellows will attend didactic lectures covering critical care concepts, pathophysiology, and nursing management of disease processes, attend Fellowship seminars with their peers, and participate in a skills day in the simulation lab. The RN fellows will have an opportunity to rotate through another critical care unit to gain a different perspective on the management of critically ill patients.
