Margaret Pfeiffer

Margaret Pfeiffer, MSN, NE-BC, CCRN is the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Interim Chief Nursing Officer at Mount Sinai South Nassau, where she oversees all nursing activities, and the more than 800 registered nurses who ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality care. The hospital is designated as a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care.
Ms. Pfeiffer brings more than 25 years of clinical and management experience in nursing to Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Patient Care Services Department. She collaborates with all disciplines throughout the organization to improve nursing practice and maintain the highest quality of patient-care delivery. Focusing on the future of nursing, she strives to apply all advances in nursing practice principles to the organization. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and holds certifications as a nurse executive and in critical care nursing.
