Barbara A. Wadsworth, DNP, MBA, RN, FAAN, FNAP, FACHE, serves as Interim Chief Nurse Officer at The Mount Sinai Hospital. A highly accomplished nurse executive and healthcare leader, Dr. Wadsworth previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Main Line Health and, prior to that, as the health system’s Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. Throughout her distinguished career, she has been recognized for advancing nursing excellence, enhancing patient and workforce safety, and fostering a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration. During her tenure at Main Line Health, Dr. Wadsworth played a pivotal role in numerous strategic initiatives, including achieving successive Magnet® designations and leading successful systemwide implementation of the Virtual Care Operations Center, driving operational efficiency through collaboration and partnerships while advancing employee engagement, professional excellence, patient experience and improved clinical and financial outcomes.
