Cardiac Critical Care New Graduate Fellowship

As cardiac nursing care has advanced, the critical care of patients with severe cardiovascular disease has become more specialized. The need for nurses capable of meeting these patients’ needs is growing. The New Graduate Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship is designed to meet this growing demand. This post-baccalaureate training program equips new graduate nurses to develop knowledge and skills in the subspecialty of cardiac critical care medicine and surgery with  immersive training in the practice of cardiovascular intensive nursing care. During this comprehensive, 24-week experience, RN fellows attend didactic lectures in cardiac critical care and will hone their skills in simulation labs, and rotate through multiple cardiac critical care units. Our graduates are well-rounded nurses who are equipped to excel in providing high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with severe cardiovascular disease.
