Researchers found that changes in barometric pressure can bring on pain in joints. James Gladstone, MD, associate professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai said, "Especially in cold weather, muscles and ligaments tighten up, making it harder for them to move and ultimately feel stiff."
