"Mount Sinai West Plans $30 Million Neonatal Unit" - Caroline Lewis

Mount Sinai West is planning a new $30 million, 35-bed neonatal unit on the 11th floor of the hospital's connected West and Winston buildings. The unit would expand neonatal capacity at the hospital on Manhattan's Far West Side by 59 percent. Mount Sinai West also aims to convert two of its neonatal intensive care beds into continuing care beds. The unit would ultimately include 15 neonatal continuing care beds, 10 neonatal intensive care beds and 10 neonatal intermediate care beds.
