Dr. Douglas Dieterich: “Treatment Landscape of NASH: Douglas Dieterich, MD”
Speaking in Vienna at the EASL Meeting Douglas Dieterich, MD spoke with Medpage Today. He says, “It’s wonderful that we have drugs now that are anti-fibrotics and anti-NASH drugs. Obviously the best things to do are diet and lose weight and take control of your pre-diabetes or insulin resistance. But those in the past have not been overly successful. A lot of weight loss programs and diabetes controlled programs are kind of doomed to fail. So I think if you put them all together and add the NASH drugs on top of it, it’s actually very exciting and very promising.” Learn more
