Multiple Sclerosis can be an unpredictable disease. Take, for instance, the effect temperature changes can have on someone with MS. “People with MS, when they are overheated, may feel a re-emergence of symptoms they have previously experienced, such as vision loss, weakness and walking difficulty, and fatigue,” says Stephen Krieger, MD, attending physician at the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis at The Mount Sinai Hospital and associate professor of neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine.
