The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will receive $2.2 million over five years from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research to study traumatic brain injury. The medical school leads one of 16 U.S. model systems, contributing to a study of more than 15,000 individuals with traumatic brain injury.
