The 2014 Mount Sinai Endocrinologist of The Year award recipient, Dr. Edward Merker, gave a state of the art lecture on neuroendocrine tumors. This prestigious award is given to an Endocrinologist who has made significant contributions to the clinical, research and educational missions of the Endocrine Division at Mount Sinai. Dr. Merker’s lecture was well received and combined discussions of complex neuroendocrine cases he treated with update on new cutting edge therapies being developed.
