The 2015 Dr. Stanley Mirsky, MD lectureship was given by Dr. Robert Sherwin, CHN Long Professor of Medicine, Chief Section of Endocrinology at Yale University School of Medicine, and Director of Yale Center of Clinical Investigation. Dr. Sherwin, a world-renowned expert on diabetes, obesity and metabolism, gave a state of the art lecture about the interaction between brain and metabolism and how signaling pathways in the brain affect the development of diabetes and obesity.
