Hematology Oncology

The Hematology and Medical Oncology service at The Blavatnik Family Chelsea Medical Center at Mount Sinai provides expert management of patients with a wide range of diagnoses, with treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, clinical trials, and more.

As part of The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai—a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center—we provide the most advanced treatment options, always with a focus on the treatment that is best for your diagnosis. All of our physicians serve as faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to providing education and training to medical students, residents, and fellows, they also actively participate in clinical trials in order to develop and explore the next generation of cancer treatments. With our advanced clinical trials, we offer access to both standard treatments and the latest novel and innovative therapies.

We utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care. We coordinate with other specialties—surgical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, reconstructive surgery, integrative medicine, psychiatry, palliative care, supportive oncology, and more—as needed, and work in close partnership with genetic counselors, social workers and clinical nutritionists.

We are here to meet your needs and wishes with compassion and expertise. Mount Sinai’s Hematology and Medical Oncology team is by your side.
