150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare
Becker's Healthcare released the "150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare 2019" list, which included the Mount Sinai Health System. This list highlights hospitals, health systems and healthcare companies that promote diversity within the workforce, employee engagement and professional growth. Mount Sinai Health System has over 42,000 employees at seven hospital campuses and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The health system champions a diverse workforce with its Office for Diversity and Inclusion, which spearheads initiatives, including employee resource groups, site diversity councils and advocacy for women. Through the Mount Sinai recreation office, employees can obtain discounts to shows, concerts and sporting events. The system also gives employees access to health and wellness programs and supports continued education through its talent development and learning division.
