Jeffrey Laitman, PhD, receives the Henry Gray-Elsevier Distinguished Educator Metal from the American Association of Anatomists
Dr. Laitman receives the highest education medal in the field of anatomy.
Jeffrey Laitman, PhD, Distinguished Professor of Medical Education and Professor of Otolaryngology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, received the Henry Gray/Elsevier Distinguished Educator Medal, the American Association of Anatomist's highest education medal, for his distinguished work in human anatomy education. He was presented with a plaque and a $4,000 honorarium on April 29, 2014 at the AAA's Annual Meeting at the San Diego Convention Center. In addition, he presented a lecture entitled "Beyond Facts: The Deeper Responsibility of Teachers to Their Students."
