Ophthalmology

The Mount Sinai Morningside Eye Clinic offers a comprehensive range of eye-care services. In addition to routine eye-health examinations, our clinic provides subspecialty eye care in the fields of medical retina, eye trauma, cornea and external diseases, oculoplastics, and neuro-ophthalmology. Patients will benefit from companionate and coordinated care, backed by a team of board certified and fellowship-trained physicians who are part of Mount Sinai’s large and dynamic department of ophthalmology, centered at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (NYEE). As America’s oldest specialty hospital, NYEE has a longstanding reputation as a leader in ophthalmic care and is consistently ranked among the “Best Hospitals” in America for ophthalmology by U.S. News & World Report. The talented faculty at The Mount Sinai Hospital, part of the Department of Ophthalmology, are also available to provide subspecialty and emergency eye care for those who find it difficult to travel to lower Manhattan.
