If your child has acute or chronic liver disease, we can help. The Division of Pediatric Hepatology at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital provides excellent, state-of-the-art care.
We are committed to you and your child. We work closely with you and your family, to ensure the best possible outcome. Our team includes pediatric liver specialists, surgeons, transplant specialists, psychologists, psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and child life specialists.
We are part of the Mount Sinai Health System. This gives us—and you—ready access to experts in many areas outside of hepatology. We can easily speak with experts at the Children’s Heart Center, kidney, infectious diseases, pulmonary, and cancer teams, and the Recanati-Miller Transplantation Institute (RMTI). RMTI is one of the top solid organ transplant programs in the country. This lets you consult with leading transplant surgeons and hepatologists as well as experts in imaging and interventional radiology. You also benefit from the close collaboration between our pediatric and adult liver specialists.
Please plan to arrive at our practice 30 minutes before your appointment time to complete the registration process. Please let us know if you will be more than 15 minutes late so we can determine how best to accommodate you.
Please have your insurance card and referrals, if necessary.
We would like to see any pertinent prior medical records for your child at least four days before your scheduled appointment. Please fax these to: 212-241-2064.
If you have to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance.
If you have a question about your child’s condition or treatment, you can call between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Our doctors do their best to return your call on the same day. If the matter is urgent, please advise our team. If your child is having an emergency, please call 911. We have a doctor on call 24 hours a day/7 days a week for urgent medical matters only. Please call during regular business hours with any questions about appointments and refills.
