Brent Stackhouse, Managing Director of Mount Sinai Ventures, discusses the construction of a $15 million surgery facility in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The space, which will offer orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and breast surgery, is expected to handle about 2,500 cases in its first year. He said, “Our vision is to have patients seamlessly transition from these Centers of Excellence to the surgery suites, so that they can continue to receive high-quality, convenient care, in a lower-cost setting.”
