"Tri-State Hospitals Ranked Among the Best in Nation by U.S. News & World Report"

U.S. News & World Report released its annual list of the 20 best hospitals in the United States Monday night and a few tri-state hospitals made the cut: three in New York City and one in Connecticut. The Mount Sinai Hospital ranked 14, and the overall ranking was due in part to it also ranking number three in geriatrics, number six in cardiology and heart surgery, number seven in diabetes and endocrinology and number nine in gastroenterology and GI surgery.
