What is vitamin D's role in multiple sclerosis? Four experts gave us their thoughts. They agreed that the epidemiological evidence for an influence is indisputable, but whether supplements make a difference is still up in the air. According to Dr. Aaron Miller, “There’s very strong association data for vitamin D and MS. The big question is does supplemental vitamin D improve the outcome of people who already have MS? Sadly, we don’t have an answer to that question yet.”
