Kravis Children's Hospital at Mount Sinai has been recognized among the nation's top 50 best children's hospitals in 7 of the 10 pediatric specialties in the 2013-14 edition of the U.S. News & World Report's annual "Best Children's Hospitals" guidebook, which compiled data from 179 pediatric centers across the nation. Mount Sinai was ranked in diabetes & endocrinology (No. 25), gastroenterology & GI surgery (No. 25), nephrology (No. 26), urology (No. 28), pulmonology (No. 36), cancer (No. 46), and cardiology & heart surgery (No. 50).
