Eder Loor – the NYPD officer stabbed in the head by a crazed man in Harlem – was released from The Mount Sinai Hospital Wednesday to the sound of bagpipes and the applause of about 100 fellow cops.

"I'm not 100 percent normal but I'm just happy that I'm alive," he said, according to CBS. Loor's wife, Dina, was by his side as he was wheeled out of the hospital by his partner, officer Lucksome Merisme. Dina is pregnant with the couple's second child.
