"Where is the Love?"
Last week, the Supreme Court issued a historic ruling that the Constitution grants same-sex couples the right to marry. Given the
lengthy national battle for marriage equality, many members of the LGBT community are now wondering where to turn their advocacy attention next.
LGBT people continue to face discrimination in housing and employment, and transgender people lack a host of legal protections in most states.
However, an area of critical importance in which physicians could play an important role is overcoming LGBT healthcare disparities.
