Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is launching a new early assurance program for medical school acceptance.
A recent issue of The New England Journal of Medicine featured a perspective column by David Muller, MD, FACP, Dean for Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, discussing the school's expansion of its "early assurance" alternative admissions process, which does not require the traditional premedical track. The essay provides outcomes data for the school's Humanities and Medicine Program (HuMed), which began in 1987. Learn more.
