If you need emergency care due to illness or injury, Mount Sinai South Nassau has two Emergency Departments (EDs). Come to us if you have a painful broken bone, difficulty breathing, or a sign of a heart attack, stroke, or another life-threatening condition. Both EDs are open 24 hours a day/7 days a week, every day of the year. You can call for an ambulance or come on your own. Our doctors and nurses will give you the care you need as quickly as possible. One of our EDs is connected to Mount Sinai South Nassau. The other is freestanding. Both locations treat adults and children.

The Oceanside location, which is connected to the hospital, is:
