Fred D. Lublin, MD, FAAN, FANA, of The Mount Sinai Hospital, took part in an MD Magazine  panel discussion of key topics in multiple sclerosis (MS) research and management.  Dr. Lublin noted that, although it appears that vitamin D does play a role in MS pathophysiology, the evidence to date only shows that vitamin D levels are associated with the disease, and not yet that related pathways are part of the cause.
