Pediatricians, take note: Many American parents are aware of online physician-rating sites, and more than one-quarter have used them to choose a pediatrician for their children, according to a new national study. This runs the risk of treating the doctor-patient relationship "like a service, like going to a hotel or restaurant," said David Dunkin, MD, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Gastroenterology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
