On Friday, the 7-foot, 250-pound center underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot's navicular bone. The healing process is expected to keep him out of basketball activities for up to six months, but the real concern is whether the injury will recur. “The navicular bone and its joints are responsible for the side-to-side motion of the foot,” said Steven B.
