2013 NKF NYC Kidney Walk
On Sunday, November 10, 2013 over 100 participants (consisting of RMTI staff, Mount Sinai 94th Street Kidney Center staff, B1 staff, our patients & our families) proudly represented “TEAM Mount Sinai/RMTI” at the 2013 National Kidney Foundation NYC Kidney Walk.
The NKF continues to be a vital source of education and resources for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), their families and community providers. The NKF has made great strides in early detection of kidney disease through their Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) screenings throughout the country.
Additionally, we were recognized as the #1 highest corporate fundraising team and the #3 highest fundraising team overall! Not only had we reached our fundraising goal but we had exceeded it. Overall, we had a great day supporting a wonderful cause!
I’m proud to announce that Team Mount Sinai/RMTI has collectively raised/donated $35,835.00 for the 2013 NKF Kidney Walk. The walk as a whole had raised $792,845.10.
Thank you to everyone who participated and/or showed their support! Donations are still being accepted. Please visit our team page at http://donate.kidney.org/goto/TEAMMOUNTSINAI for more information.
We look forward to walking together again next year and hope to see you there!
