A Message from Our Director

Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center has served the health needs of young people from New York and beyond for over 50 years. We strive to remove any obstacles that keep young people from getting the care they require. Here adolescents and young adults can access confidential, fully integrated services six days a week.

Everything we do is designed for young people who are welcomed, understood, and treated with respect. We also welcome family members as we know that families are our greatest resource in keeping young people healthy. We provide loving care and support to more than 12,000 young people every year and all services are provided regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

Our core commitment is to the health of New York’s most vulnerable young people and helping them to make healthy, informed choices. Our expert staff helps our patients make positive decisions around their health through a wide range of resources: primary health care, sexual and reproductive health services, health education and counseling, mental health services and optical care. We don’t just treat symptoms, but treat each individual’s particular needs.

With our expertise in serving the needs of adolescents, the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center are leaders in adolescent health. Today we are a training destination for physicians, psychologists and social workers – and for adolescent specialists from across the globe. We are a center for innovative research in key issues in adolescent health; we stand as advocates for adolescents in the development local of national policies on issues impacting adolescents; and we are a model in our industry for effective, cost-efficient health services.

I invite you to learn more about the Center here on our website, and we welcome you to visit us in person.
