"Spotlight On Doctors"
Amongst the donors, administrators, thinkers, and lay-leaders, exists a subset of crucial actors: they are by the bedside, in the operating room, teaching in the lecture halls, and conducting vital research in real time. They are the doctors. Of the tens of thousands of physicians changing and saving lives on a minute-to-minute basis, we present three of Mount Sinai Hospital’s finest. Among those featured were Elisa Port, MD, director of the Dubin Breast Center and chief of breast surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital; Frederick Friedman Jr., associate professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and director of the division of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive science at the Mount Sinai Health System.
