"Mount Sinai Queens Celebrates National Nurses Week"
In a show of appreciation for all of the hard work and dedication of nurses, Mount Sinai Queens is observing National Nurses Week, May 6-12. The theme for this year’s nationwide celebration, sponsored by the American Nurses Association (ANA), is “Nurses Inspire, Innovate, Influence.” All of the Nurses Week events and festivities are hosted by Jill Goldstein, MA, MS, RN, deputy chief nursing officer and vice president of Mount Sinai Queens. “The nurses at Mount Sinai Queens are the heart and soul of this hospital and a vital part of our care team,” said Caryn Schwab, executive director of Mount Sinai Queens. “Their professionalism, skill, and caring are always front and center when taking care of our patients and supporting their families. This week, we thank them for everything they do all year round. We’re a better hospital because of them.”
