A new study reports "a significant decline in sperm counts...between 1973 and 2011, driven by a 50–60 percent decline among men unselected by fertility from North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand." Endocrine disruption is the particular focus of one of the researchers, Shanna Swan, PhD, professor of environmental medicine and public health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
