Experts say kids need an hour of physical activity daily to stay healthy and reduce the risk of chronic diseases later in life. Finding the time to fit in that moderate to high physical activity may seem difficult, but it's easier than you think. "To get active, you got to find ways to make it a game," says Mount Sinai Beth Israel Center for Health and Healing Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation Coordinator Paul Hartmann.
