"Treating Ground Zero Illnesses; Treating the Heroes of 9-11 from Asthma to PTSD"

Ten years after the 9/11 attacks, ­doctors have found that rescue and recovery workers are at extremely high risk of illnesses related to the toxins at Ground Zero. "After many consistent studies, we've now identified a number of conditions, ranging from chronic asthma and sinusitis to posttraumatic stress disorder, as World Trade Center-related illnesses," said Dr. Michael Crane from The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
