"Colorectal Cancer Cases In Young Adults On The Rise"

Younger Americans are now facing a higher risk of getting colon and rectal cancer, according to a new study. New cases are striking adults in their 20s and 30s, while cases among Americans 55 and older are declining. Dr. Jon LaPook reports. “Some of the studies have reflected on diet, sedentary lifestyle, and increased fat, things like that in the diet, that are now affecting people younger and younger,” said Daniel Labow, MD, chief of surgical oncology at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
