The Institute for Critical Care Medicine (ICCM) offers several fellowships and residencies: the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, Neurocritical Care Pre-Residency and Critical Care Medicine Pre-Residency Fellowship, Neurocritical Care Fellowship, and Emergency Medicine-Critical Care Fellowship, all of which have a 100 percent match rate. The Critical Care-Anesthesiology Fellowship Program will welcome a new fellow this year. Fellow training includes case-based and procedural simulations, ultrasound conferences, and a comprehensive critical care boot camp.

Faculty Development and Training

In addition to training clinical house staff, ICCM provides its faculty with numerous educational simulations, including percutaneous tracheostomy, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, echocardiography, cricothyrotomy tube placement, and difficult airway management training.
