The Alan and Barbara Milken Department of Neurology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel is recognized as a leader in adult and pediatric neurology. With Susan Bressman, MD at the helm, our team of highly trained neurologists is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders and diseases of the nervous system, including epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and stroke.
Collaboration is at the heart of our superb clinical care, which attracts patients throughout the country to our Department as well as our three Neurology Centers of Excellence specializing in dystonia, Parkinson’s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Our multidisciplinary approach means a neurologist, neurosurgeon, speech therapist, neuropsychiatrist, physical or occupational therapist, and social worker all come together to address every aspect of each patient’s neurological condition.
