At Mount Sinai Victim Services, we are here to help. We support people who have experienced:

We can help at any stage of healing. You can get support even if the violence happened a long time ago. Anyone can refer someone to our program.

Our Services

We offer many services. These include:

Victim Services Confidential Helpline, 212-420-4516. We offer crisis support, information, referrals, and advocacy. Anyone can call. This includes survivors, service providers, and community members.
One-on-one therapy: We provide therapy to teens and young adults, LGBTQ+ people, and members of the Orthodox Jewish community. Our care focuses on you and your experiences. We are taking new clients.
College campuses: We provide training at New York City colleges on issues such as giving consent, helping survivors, and assisting someone in trouble. We also train people to offer support for survivors during the legal process.
Referrals to emergency departments: We work with the Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program. We can send you to hospitals that can collect evidence and provide crisis counseling, advocacy, and referrals.
Referrals to the New York State Office of Victim Services Compensation Assistance: This office may be able to help you pay for medical care, therapy, and lost wages.
Support for Victims of Rape and Incest Helpline, 888-613-1613. We provide anonymous, confidential, culturally sensitive support for members of the Orthodox Jewish community. We also offer phone counseling and referrals for sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, and incest survivors. It helps with:
- Safety planning and orders of protection
- Referrals for domestic violence and other shelters
- Criminal justice information and advocacy
