"South Nassau Communities Hospital Eyes Mount Sinai Link" - Christina Daly
The chairman of South Nassau Communities Hospital called the possibility of joining forces and becoming the Long Island flagship of the Mount Sinai Health System a "once-in-a-generation" opportunity. The two institutions have announced that they had signed a nonbinding letter of intent, under which they would conduct in-depth talks to reach a final agreement. "We are looking forward to a long and fruitful affiliation that will enhance services for all residents of Long Island," said Kenneth L. Davis, MD, president and CEO, Mount Sinai Health System, who's also a Syosset native.
