Pulmonary Telemedicine Appointments

Mount Sinai’s Division of Pulmonary Diseases offers telemedicine/video appointments to our patients with concerns related to their lung health, including both urgent and routine health care needs. We recognize during this heightened alert about COVID-19, virtual appointments are extremely helpful because they reduce your potential risk of exposure. We use these appointments primarily for selected new and follow-up care.

We would like to offer all new patients the same courtesy and convenience. However, we appreciate your understanding that an initial appointment usually requires a physical examination in the office. Most patients do not need in-person appointments for follow-up visits, which are typically shorter than initial visits. Hence, telemedicine is an effective channel to receive quality follow-up care without the hassle of commuting. Our patients enjoy the various benefits of real-time video visits, which can include prescribing medications if needed.
