Our team of family doctors is skilled in assessing new symptoms, managing your overall care, and providing the health education and screenings you need to help prevent disease in the first place. Having long served Staten Island with high quality, patient-centered primary care, we are now pleased to bring the superb medical services of the Mount Sinai Health System home to our local community.
Primary Care Services We Provide
Our board certified internists have extensive experience managing chronic conditions—such as diabetes and hypertension—as well as any acute symptoms that may arise, from a sore throat to a nagging cough. With a commitment to prevention, we can also help you adopt lifestyle practices that promote good health and ensure that you are up to date on any recommended screenings and vaccinations.
We offer a wide range of primary care services—on both an outpatient and inpatient basis—including the following:
- Annual checkup
- Coordination of care
- Diabetes care
- Diagnostic tests (including blood draws, urinalysis, cardiac testing, pulmonary testing, and more)
- Evaluation and treatment of chronic and acute illness
- Patient education
- Physical exam
- Preoperative consultation
- Vaccinations (including vaccines against influenza, Hepatitis A and B, meningococcal meningitis, and more)
Should specialized care become necessary, we coordinate your treatments with other disciplines—including cardiology, endocrinology, kidney care, podiatry, and more—to make sure that you fully understand your comprehensive treatment plan and receive seamless, integrated care.
Making Your Convenience Our Priority
Understanding that you need convenient access to primary care services, our compassionate and courteous staff aims to make all patients feel welcome and keep wait times to a minimum. In addition to offering extended hours and same day appointments, we manage your health information in electronic medical records, in order to ensure that each visit to our primary care doctors is as efficient and productive as possible.
