Neuropsychiatric Research at Mount Sinai
The Division provides many opportunities for patients to benefit from Mount Sinai’s ongoing research activities. Our current studies include a trial called PRIDE (Prolonging Remission in Depressed Elderly), which seeks to study the optimal way of using ECT to treat geriatric depression.
The Division of Geriatric Psychiatry is also closely allied with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, which is a nationally renowned research program dedicated to the study of normal aging and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
